It’s no secret to us, or any other Capetonian for that matter, that the Mother City is among top destinations to visit across the globe. Cape Town boasts giant mountains that capture cool sea breezes that are sent rushing back through the city and suburbs on cold winter days and hot summer nights.
Cape Town is sparkling seas as far as the eye can see alongside culture that originates from not only Africa but Europe and Asia to create a pot of sumptuous rich flavours.
Cape Town is best shared and when the world is shining down on it it steps up and flashes a bright white smile back.
Cape Town has been home for many through thick and thin and now it can throw its hands in the air welcoming in the praise it deserves.
This year, proud Capetonians can now claim bragging rights to the number 1 spot for 2014 on the internationally renowned New York Times travel list.
Tourism has been on the up since before the world cup and with the acclimation of World Design Capital 2014, the time has never been riper for the sunny shores of Clifton, Camps Bay, and the pumping streets of town and its surrounds to be praised.
