Clothing Collection

The Clothing Collection project makes it easy to distribube old/unwanted clothes from hostels, backpackers and guesthouses to the poorer communities.

The TCD Trust launched this simple, but effective initiative by supplying bins to participating hostels, backpackers and guest houses around Cape Town. Guests may place any unwanted clothing, etc in these bins upon their departure.

These bins fill up amazingly fast and we then pass the clothing on to the Red Cross, who distribute it to the needy.

Anyone interested in keeping a bin at their establishment or to donate goods can contact the Trust.
